Tylenol Recall Related to Pallets04-Jan-2010

As a result of the recent Tylenol recall due to the chemical 2, 4, 6-tribromoanisole being used on wooden pallets, Dominion Pallet would like to let our customers and contacts know that at no time do we use any chemicals in the process of manufacturing and treatment of pallets or wooden packaging.

The only treatment we utilize is from the IPPC heat treatment program https://www.ippc.int/IPP/En/default.jsp.  Any pallet with a stamp has been heat treated according to IPPC regulations and have been heat-treated until they reach 56°C at the core for 30 minutes, stamped, and certified in compliance with the IPPC guidelines for import and export requirements for solid wood packing materials.  At no time have your pallets been treated with chemicals of any kind.  No chemicals including TBA, TBP or any others, have touched your pallets.
